- AT&SF Class Bx-6 Sectional Sheathed Box Car - A Follow-On Design to the 4000 Class BX-3 Sectional Sheathed Cars Built in 1923-1924.  A Derivative of the Original USRA Steel Framed Box Car Design, The BX-3 and BX-6 Classes Differed With Their Unique Double Sheathed Sectional Wood Sides - 1000 BX-6 Cars Were Built in 1925 by Pullman Standard - The BX-3 and BX-6 Cars Comprised a Substantial Portion of the AT&SF Box Car Fleet Until the 1940’s - Many Were Converted Into SK Series Stock Cars in the Late 1940’s - A Number of the Box Cars Lasted in Revenue Service Until the 1950’s
